Free Returns via Waitrose & Partners

You can return unwanted items up to 35 days after purchase.

Items must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition (including all labels and tags intact)
  • Not contain personal data or have been manufacturer-registered (for phones, tablets, computers, etc)
  • There are some items that we can't return or exchange unless faulty. Read our return policy to find out more

How to return

1. Use for returning johnlewis.com orders only. We're sorry that we can't accept returns for items bought at John Lewis & Partners shops.

2. Fill out the returns section on the front of your delivery note

3. If you have a Waitrose & Partners label printed on your delivery note:

  • attach this to your parcel with your items(s) and delivery note packaged securely inside
  • only use the label for that particular order

4. If there's no Waitrose & Partners label printed on your delivery note:

  • package your item(s) and delivery note securely
  • you'll be given a label to attach to your parcel in the shop
  • you'll also be asked for your order number which you can find in your order confirmation email 

5. If you’re returning your items from the Channel Islands, you’ll need to download an additional returns label from the Jersey Post website.

  • Welcome Breaks
  • Branches within John Lewis shops: Horsham, Ipswich and Kingston 

JOHN LEWIS & PARTNERS RETURNS VIA WAITROSE & PARTNERS GROCERY DELIVERIES

You can now return small johnlewis.com orders to the Partner who delivers your Waitrose.com groceries.

Your delivery driver can collect small parcels when they bring you your waitrose.com grocery order. Each parcel needs to be no larger than 54 x 35 x 22cm when packaged.

Simply parcel up items with a Waitrose & Partners returns label fixed to the outside of the package - you'll find this on your John Lewis & Partners dispatch note.

Lost your delivery note?

Don't worry - just take your order number to the shop. This can be found in your original confirmation email or Click & collect text message.

Your refund can take up to 2 weeks

How returns are processed:

  1. It can take up to 7 days for your item to reach our returns centre
  2. Once we've received your item, we will check and process it. This normally takes up to 2 days, depending on how many returns we are dealing with. We'll then send you a Return Processed email.
  3. Your refund should appear in your account within 5 days of the Return Processed email.
